PanchangeekamVedic Astrology, Done Precisely

About Panchangeekam

Vedic astrology built on precision — every calculation traced back to its classical source, not simplified guesswork.

Our Mission

Panchangeekam exists to bring precise, classical Vedic astrology to everyday decisions — not just for special occasions, but for the daily rhythm of life. We built it because too many Panchang tools online rely on simplified defaults (like treating every day as running midnight-to-midnight) that quietly diverge from the actual classical methods.

Every calculation on this site is traced back to its classical source: real sunrise-to-sunrise Vedic day boundaries, exact astronomical transition times rather than daily snapshots, and formulas cross-checked against classical texts and validated against real printed Panchangams.

Our Approach

Panchangeekam is built on the Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) system, using precise sidereal (Lahiri) astronomical calculations rather than simplified tables. Where most Panchang calendars show a Tithi or Nakshatra as a single daily value, we compute and show the exact moment each one begins and ends — because on many days, more than one is active before the next sunrise.

We built this site for the Telugu diaspora and for anyone who wants their Panchang, Tarabalam, Chandrabala, and Muhurta information calculated correctly for their own city and date, not approximated from a table built for a single reference location.
